Greetings & Welcome to our CSA Info Page!

**registration is now closed for the spring/summer 2019 season. Please stay tuned for Opening Registration for our 2019/2020 Fall/ Winter CSA. **

Thank you for taking an interest in our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)

It is the support of our local community that makes small farms possible! We are proud to announce that Schooner Creek Farm CSA is in it’s 7th year!!!

Our 2019 CSA will run from May 7th through September 24th.

Pickup is on farm every Tuesday afternoon/evening between the hours 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Near Nashville. Or at Bloomington Community Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

Registration Now Open! Payments due in full upon registration. We offer a limited number of high quality shares and we look forward to your participation. Full Season share, 21 weeks, for a total of $625

The above pictures are examples of our weekly boxes of produce from late May/early June and August. Please see our Crops page for more info about what we grow!

Members can expect a variety of beautiful produce harvested at peak ripeness usually the day of pickup!

We grow a lot of delicious greens and there will be some in your share each week as well as other seasonal produce such as root vegetables, herbs, onions, tomatoes, eggplant, shallots, etc…

Our shares are designed for 2 to 4 people to have a medley of vegetables and herbs throughout the week. We recommend freezing or drying anything you can’t use fresh. (Some of our customers like to freeze things for winter)

We do not have “egg shares” this year but we will usually have fresh, pastured GMO-free eggs from our hens available for purchase here at the farm on pickup days.

We offer substitutes for food allergies only.

Members will receive a regular e-newsletter throughout the season with updates from the farm, recipes, and other CSA info.

Members also receive 10% off any purchase of produce, eggs, herbs, crafts, etc. outside of their weekly produce share.

Members can tour the farm on the first pickup day and continue to see where their food is being grown all season long! Don’t forget to say hello to the goats and sheep while you’re here!

Vacation Option- New This Year: To better satisfy our members we are now offering a vacation option. If you are going to be out of town on one of your pickup days this year, but don’t want to miss out on your box of produce- let us know ahead of time and we will provide a substitute pickup day for you at the end of the season on October 1st. Please note that this is a one time accommodation for the 2019 CSA. For additional weeks we suggest that you arrange to have a friend/family member pick up your share for you 🙂

For those interested in a “half share” please note that we do not offer half shares. However if you’re wanting a half share we recommend finding a friend or family member to split a full share with you. This arrangement will be entirely up to the customer/member (who is submitting one full payment to us) to arrange on their own. We are also happy to take names and connect you with someone else who is wanting a half share! 🙂

We at Schooner Creek Farm never use any synthetic chemicals or fertilizers on any of our crops or on our land. No pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or “cides” of any kind.

We are a non-GMO farm. We do not purchase, plant or grow any GMO seeds or plants. We take great care in growing the highest quality, nutrient dense food we can!

To register:

Please email or use our CONTACT page. We will promptly send you an email with our registration info/invoice/agreement form to sign and turn in. We will hold your spot as soon as we receive your email request. Thanks for “stopping by” and we look forward to meeting you!

We accept the following forms of payment:

Check, cash, money order, PayPal, BTC, LTC, ETH

Please note that we cannot and do not offer refunds under any circumstances whatsoever. If a member has paid and registered for their share and for any reason cannot begin or continue or finish their CSA season with us, they or someone in their proxy will need to handle transferring or forfeiting their share for the season. We are a small business and the funds from the CSA go directly into investments for our farm’s future. We appreciate your understanding.
